Membership Information
The St. Augustine RC Flyers welcome everyone who steps up to our flight line. All club members must be current AMA members (Academy of Model Aeronautics). By joining the AMA you will have the necessary insurance coverage to fly at our site and any AMA-sanctioned field. Find out how to join the AMA at www.modelaircraft.org
After you’ve joined the AMA, you can become a member of the club by completing the application form and submitting the registration fee to the membership officer at our monthly club meetings. New modelers and members are encouraged to see our regulatory information flyer for information about FAA registration and the TRUST test, or read about it here.
Note: Gas turbines are not permitted at our facility

Membership Fees

- New Member Initiation Fee: $100 (the initiation fee is waived for additional adult flyers in the same family – lapsed memberships will incur a new initiation fee.) Note: New membership costs are the yearly dues (prorated when applicable, please contact us for the correct prorated amount) plus the $100 initiation fee.
- Yearly Membership Dues: $75.00 (Due June 30th annually, new member’s dues are prorated)
- Youth: Free under 18 with parent or guardian in constant supervision
- Checks, cash, and Paypal* are currently accepted for membership dues (*contact us for details)
Membership dues cover the ongoing maintenance of our facilities.
